Bottom Fraise

Herder has introduced a new flail head combination which addresses the needs of drainage authorities, especially in the matter of water vole and general conservation.

The Bottom Fraise is fitted with a heavy duty conveyor belt which effectively clears mown debris from the lower points of the bank and deposits it along the top so leaving the nesting sites of water voles clear of obstruction.

A further refinement is a compact rotary flail mounted on the business end of the flail head designed to reach the bottom of narrow watercourses, thus providing two operations in one pass.
