NEW Cavalier MBK 180

Cavalier MBK 180 is a cost effective, mid mounted mowing arm that combines the build and hydraulic standards associated with the company’s larger designs.

Stringent wildlife protection regulations mean that contractors must use flails more intensively over less weeks and need reliable, user friendly kit that eliminates the need to constantly look over the shoulder. Herder’s Cavalier MBK 180 is not only mid mounted, but also features a forward slewing arm to position the flail head within driver vision. Operation is by a fully proportional electronic joystick control with electro hydraulic float system for convenient and smooth operation.

Herder’s Cavalier MBK 180 is available with a choice of flail mowers up to180 cm width, together with weed mowing buckets and highway maintenance attachments. The Cavalier has a standard arm reach of 7m, and 7.8m with optional telescopic arm.

A variable displacement pump at 540 rpm PTO provides up to 90 litres/min for attachments with 60 litres/min for the controls. Flail attachment operating pressure is 330 bar which provides 68 hp at the flail head motor to ensure effective operation on riverbanks, verges and hedges.

Suitable for mid range tractors of around 100 hp, the Cavalier fully complies with gross vehicle weight regulations.
