Rapier is a compact, folding flail system that offers up to 6.7 metres of reach with a choice of flail mowers up to 225 cm wide, together with disc mowers and mower-rake combinations. A variable displacement pump at 1000 rpm PTO provides up to120 litres/min for attachments with 55 litres/min for the controls. Flail attachment operating pressure is 250 bar, which provides 68 hp at the flail head motor to ensure effective operation on riverbanks, verges and hedges.

Rapier BK 180

This exciting new rear-mounted flail offers effective 180 degree, two sided operation with a 7.6m reach. It incorporates proven Herder hydraulic power and engineering with the Ecomower flail head ensuring outstanding performance at point of delivery. There is a choice of heads from 1.3 to 2.5m for grass and hedge maintenance.

Initial interest has been high, especially from contractors and local authorities.
